A pioneering residential addiction treatment center for boys. Kristin Bakowski, of meis design interiors, was asked to transform an existing farm house, barn, and water tower on six acres into a live in facility for boys ages 12-17 years old. There were many obstacles, requirements, and challenges. Kristin's main objective was to create an healthy environment, one the young boys could feel tied in with nature and appreciate the teachings of John Muir and rugged enough to withstand the wear and tear of teenage boys.
